Walking on hot embers is the final initiation of a traditional fire ceremony. An integral part of the ritual is the ceremonial fire jump, a tradition believed to amplify wishes and intentions.
As part of the HUG Festival, the ceremony begins on Saturday at 11:30 PM. The purpose of the fire jump is the symbolic multiplication of wishes, while the firewalk itself invites participants to discover that the limits of their abilities are often far broader than they imagine.
A true rite of passage, naturally accompanied by the mesmerizing sounds of the handpan.
The firewalking ceremony will be led by Tarr Bence László, master firewalking instructor.
