Combining the tools of modern jazz, electronic music, minimalism and free improvisation the band l| parallel lifeforms l| consists of percussion producer Balázs Bank and saxophonist Benedek Gáspár.
Balázs's musical layers played on digital and analog synthesizers form the base of their music, on top of which improvised wind parts and freer percussion play. Their music, which is hard to categorize between genre boundaries, is repetitive and improvisational at the same time, and shows the continuous interaction of the constant and the changing.
Jazz singer Júlia Simkovits will be their guest musician at the HUG festival.
