Singer-songwriter Eszter Tóth, musician, her bands are Lanou (folk pop) and Napfonat women's vocal group (a cappella). In addition to singing, she plays the guitar, zither, Irish bouzouki, piano and frame drum, and sings in her throat. She believes in the liberating and community-forming power of singing, and regularly holds folk song circles and singing circles. Since 2019, she has been leading the "Szabad a Madárnak" folk song circle, whose aim is to bring community singing and Hungarian folk songs closer to people living in the modern world.

"With the help of music and singing, we can reach our souls in a simple and short way, get to know ourselves better, effort without it, we can get into a state of joy. Folk songs are also special from this point of view, I find that we are connected by a common language, melodic world and symbol system, and almost bypassing our thinking, it opens our souls and creates an immediate, simple, pure community experience. the world of symbols is the soul's own language, through which we can learn a lot about the nature around us, about ourselves, and about our place in the world."
