Tahitian dance workshop

Friday | 21 July | 12:30
Saturday | July 22 | 12:30
Fire stage

The dynamic, powerful and feminine dance of the Polynesian archipelago is the Tahitian dance. It radiates the joy of life, the delicacy and charm of female power.
There are basically two forms of Tahitian dance. Otea is an intense and fast dance presented to a dynamic drum solo. And during the aparima, the dancer gracefully tells a story with slowly swaying hips and delicate hand movements. These two poles complement each other beautifully, through which the dancers show their strength and feminine elegance.
Let's say that we like to form a community where it's simply good to be.
Come, let's celebrate beauty, life and summer together!
If you can, please make a donation (2-4,000 HUF) to the realization of the workshop. Of course, this is not a condition for participation.
The ideal number of people for the workshop is 25-410 people.
Our dancers, who teach at the HUG Festival and dance together with you: Ilona Bárány, Kinga Katona, Niki Szökrön and Tamara Tischler.
