Contact Improvisation

Presence in Connection

Contact improvisation is a form of movement-based encounter where attention, touch, and trust become the foundation of the dance. It is a practice of spontaneous shared movement, exploring how we can connect through motion while staying present with both our own bodies and one another.

This session is an invitation to explore the experience of "we." Through simple, accessible exercises suitable for everyone, we will prepare our bodies and sharpen our awareness before settling into a shared, playful flow.

There is no goal to achieve—only the genuine curiosity with which we turn toward one another. This is a celebration of movement, where connection and presence in the present moment become the most meaningful experience.

I have been dancing, practicing sports, performing, and creating since childhood, and I have been teaching movement for over 20 years. It was around that time that I first discovered contact improvisation.

Today, my main interests are solo and contact improvisation, as well as somatic approaches to movement. I organize dance events, perform, teach, and create. Alongside dance, I also work with connective tissue–based movement therapy.
