Ticket Purchase, Participation and Cancellation Terms & Conditions
HUG Festival 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern ticket purchases, participation, and cancellations related to the HUG Festival taking place in Pápateszér, Hungary, from July 2–5, 2026.
1. Organizer

Ticket Types and Prices
Two ticket types are available for the HUG Festival:
Standard HUG Festival Ticket: HUF 39,900 per person
Gold HUG Festival Ticket: HUF 49,900 per person
Each ticket includes:
• Access to the four-day HUG Festival;
• Access to festival concerts, workshops (except separately designated paid programs), and community activities;
• Camping in the designated festival camping area;
• Entry into the MAG Instruments handpan raffle;
• Discounts on other events organized by the Hungarian Handpan Association throughout the year;
• A 5% discount on the purchase of a MAG Instruments handpan.
Children under the age of 14 may attend free of charge and do not require separate registration.
The Gold Ticket is intended for those who wish to support the realization of HUG with an additional contribution. It provides access to the same programs and services as the Standard Ticket.
3. Legal Nature of the Ticket Purchase
For legal purposes, a HUG Festival ticket is registered as a supporting membership associated with the HUG Festival of the Hungarian Handpan Association.This supporting membership is linked solely to participation in the festival and does not impose any additional time, financial, organizational, or liability obligations on the purchaser toward either the festival or the association.During the purchase process, the purchaser acknowledges this fact through a separate declaration.
4. Ticket Purchase Process
Tickets can be purchased online through the HUG Festival ticketing platform.
During the purchase process, the purchaser provides:
The number of Standard and/or Gold Tickets to be purchased;
The purchaser’s name and email address;
A phone number, if applicable;
The names of the participants;
Acceptance of the ticket purchase, participation, cancellation, and privacy policy terms.After submitting the purchase request, the purchaser will receive the information required to complete the bank transfer.
5. Payment
Tickets for the HUG Festival may only be purchased via bank transfer.
A ticket purchase becomes final only after the payment has been received. Submission of the purchase form alone does not constitute a completed ticket purchase.The total amount payable is calculated automatically based on the selected ticket type and quantity.The purchaser will receive the bank transfer details immediately after submitting the form and by email.

If purchasing a ticket for another participant, the participant’s name must also be entered correctly during the purchase process.
For international transfers, IBAN and SWIFT/BIC details will be provided.
6. Payment Deadline
Please initiate the bank transfer within 48 hours of submitting your ticket purchase request.If payment is not received, the organizer may release the reservation and cancel the ticket purchase request.
7. Confirmation
The ticket purchase becomes final once the transferred amount has been received.After payment has been received, the organizer will send a final confirmation email.
Upon arrival at the festival, participants may be asked to present this confirmation email, either digitally or in printed form.Participant names will also be recorded on the festival admission list.
8. Ticket Transfer
Purchased tickets are non-transferable.Admission is linked to the participant name provided during the purchase process.
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Purchased tickets are non-refundable.No refund will be provided in the event of cancellation by the purchaser, failure to attend, late arrival, early departure, or changes in personal circumstances.Tickets cannot be transferred to another event or exchanged for other services.
10. Program Changes
The organizer reserves the right to modify the program, performers, workshops, schedules, and venue arrangements.Program changes do not entitle participants to a refund.11. Weather ConditionsHUG Festival is an outdoor event.In the event of rain, concerts, workshops, and other programs will proceed as planned unless severe weather or safety concerns make this impossible.Participants are encouraged to bring appropriate clothing, rain gear, warm layers, and suitable equipment.If certain programs must be modified or cancelled due to extreme weather, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, reasonable alternative arrangements will be made where possible.
12. Festival Cancellation
If the entire festival is cancelled by the organizer, purchasers will be informed by email about available options.In such cases, the organizer will act in accordance with applicable laws and provide information regarding possible refunds or alternative arrangements.
13. Arrival and Departure
Participants may arrive from 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2026.The festival site must be vacated no later than 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 5, 2026, following the conclusion of the event.
14. Camping and On-Site Stay
Tickets include camping within the designated festival area.
Camping spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis within the designated camping zones.
Participants are asked to respect fellow campers, nature, and the venue throughout their stay.Participants remain on site at their own risk and are responsible for their own equipment and belongings.
15. Children
Children under the age of 14 may attend free of charge and do not require advance registration.A small playground with a sandbox and climbing structures will be available.
No childcare or supervision services are provided.Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the safety and supervision of accompanying children.
16. Dogs
Dogs are welcome only if the participant accepts and complies with the HUG Festival Dog Policy.
Dog owners are fully responsible for their dog’s behavior, safety, health, and for ensuring that their dog does not disturb or endanger other participants, animals, or wildlife in the area.The organizers reserve the right to require the removal of a dog from the festival grounds in the event of repeated or serious issues.
17. House Rules and Responsible Participation
HUG Festival is a family-friendly, nature-oriented community event.
Participants agree to respect:
• Other participants;
• The venue and the natural environment;
• Requests made by organizers and volunteers;
• The peaceful atmosphere of festival activities;
• The festival’s zero-waste principles.
The organizer reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior seriously disrupts the safety, well-being, or operation of the event.In such cases, ticket fees will not be refunded.
18. Sustainability
HUG Festival strives to operate as a zero-waste event.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own plate, mug, and cutlery and to avoid single-use packaging whenever possible.Participants are responsible for properly managing the waste they generate and, where necessary, taking it home with them.
19. Processing of Personal Data
Personal data collected during the ticket purchase process will be used solely for:
• Ticket administration;Admission management;
• Communication with participants;
• Organization and operation of the festival.
The detailed Privacy Policy is available on the ticket purchase platform.Newsletter communications will only be sent with the participant’s separate and voluntary consent.
