The HolddalaNap Band primarily dresses up its own songs in clothing woven from our shared musical knowledge. Hungarian folk music is home for all of us, the members of the Orchestra were brought up in the waters of this source.
At their children's concerts, they made percussive, fabulous selections, fairytale concerts from their own songs, arrangements of poems, folk children's songs, Hungarian and Roma folk music material, and wherever possible, they spice up their concerts with giant puppets, stilts, and masked dances. They have already toured the country, from the Children's Island to the thousand-person summer concerts on the Balaton to the Palace of Arts, and often give concerts for children and adults at foreign festivals.
